About the Emumu
The Emumu started as a simple ask to create an emu mascot that was friendly and fun-loving!
What began as a one-off project quickly became a cultural staple at Esusu. It was so loved it was used in company merch, holidays celebrations, and internal campaigns.
It's a reminder that great design has the power to build identity from the inside out and bring people together over something as simple as a bird!

I had so much fun creating this character. The best part? Watching teammates light up when the Emumu showed up in a slack message, on merch, or a holiday zoom background. Design has a unique power to bring levity and warmth to the places we spend most of our time and sometimes, a friendly little emu is all it takes to remind a team why they love what they do.
